Tell the company what your biggest request is

Blizzard is a very popular company with fans because they have always played an important part in the marketing of its games. A big part of the success of titles such as StarCraft or WarCraft came not as a result of marketing or ad campaigns but thanks to people who recommended them to others by word of mouth.

Currently the company is very hard at work with its four biggest projects: the ever-changing World of Warcraft, the upcoming StarCraft II strategy title, the Diablo III role playing game and the yet-unannounced online multiplayer game. But that doesn't mean that older titles aren't being taken care of.

The most recent example is the fact that the company wants the player's input on the next patch for the historical Diablo II RPG title, which is still being played today by quite a lot of fans around the world. As such, one of the community managers, who goes by the nickname Bashiok, has made a topic on the Battle.Net forum where players can tell the team what they want to be changed about Diablo II.

“We’re in the process of working on Diablo II content patch 1.13, and we want to try to include the Diablo community’s most important changes in our production schedule. To achieve this we’re asking for your input on what you’d like to see in this patch. However, we’re making it a bit stricter than a full-blown wish list. If you were to get an advance look at the patch notes for Diablo II 1.13, what is the one patch note you would want to see?”

The overall goal is for players to see their biggest wishes come true with the future patch, so they are advised to tell their friends about the forum topic so the team can get as much feedback as possible. Diablo II players who want to make their voices heard can do so in this topic.

Hopefully the Blizzard team will be able to resolve as many requests as possible and that everyone will have a great time when the patch eventually arrives.
