Players are thrilled with the increase in legendary items

Diablo 3's anniversary 100% to the drop rate of legendary items has been a huge success and Blizzard wants feedback from fans about this major temporary change to the action role-playing game.

Diablo 3 came out back in May of 2012 for PC and Mac and, while it delivered a pretty good experience, its loot system was quite poor, offering very few legendary items for players and plenty of gear that was useless to their current class.

After a long time, at the beginning of March this year, Blizzard introduced the Loot 2.0 system as part of patch 2.0.1, massively increasing the drop rate for legendary items and bringing plenty of people back to Diablo 3.

For the 2-year anniversary, the studio unleashed a temporary buff to the drop of legendary gear and, as you can imagine, it's been a huge success.

Now, one of the studio's representatives has started gathering feedback on the Battle.net forums about the buff and how it has affected regular gameplay. Check out the actual questions below.

What specifically is it about the anniversary buff's increased drop rate that feels good? What are you doing with the extra items you find? Are you finding more upgrades? Are you Enchanting more frequently? Are you crafting more? Has the buff had any downsides or negative effects for you personally? If yes, what are they? What game mode and difficulty level have you been playing on?

You can share your feedback with Blizzard and, hopefully, this might result in a bigger drop rate for legendary items after the buff runs out, or at least more buffs.
