Rich Barham is an industry veteran that has developed games for important companies such as Blizzard, Riot Games, Jagex and Bethesda and now has founded his own multi-platform game studio in the UK.

It is called Octopus 8 studios and along with Barham, there is also Mediatonic senior designer Justin Parsler and Lady Shotgun designer Chris Cox.

Gamers that have followed their work so far will be pleased to know that they will be realizing their first game, a mobile title, later his year. Moreover, a second one is due in early 2014.

As a studio, they believe that hiring up-and-coming artists to work at Octopus 8 will give them an advantage, allowing them to get a better foothold into the video game development world.

Therefore, one can see that their policy consists of bringing new and fresh talents to the team.
