Developer Blizzard has made public the official schedule, with events and panels, of the upcoming BlizzCon event, which will be taking place in Anaheim Convention Center on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23, with the highlights being panels about the upcoming role playing game Diablo III and about the next expansion for the MMO World of Warcraft.

Diablo III gets three full fledged panels at the BlizzCon event, two on the main stage and one on the development panel stage, focusing on how the world of the game was created by the artists, designers, story tellers and developers at the company and on how the actual narrative will unfold.

Fans can also look forward to a Question and Answer session that will take place on Saturday at 3 PM, allowing anyone who goes to the convention to talk directly the game makers.

The amount of information offered on the game suggests that Blizzard might even go so far as to announce a launch date for Diablo III, which could be in the hands of gamers before the date of the 2011 BlizzCon.

Of course Blizzard is famously tight lipped about launch dates and the company could choose to just suggests whether the game will arrive next year or not.

The events that will feature Starcraft II are of a more analytical nature, focusing on the past, meaning Wings of Liberty, than on the future, aka Heart of the Swarm.

One highlight will be the Secrets of the Masters panel, taking place on Friday at the developer panel stage, where the best players of the real time strategy game will share their tricks with the audience.

BlizzCon will also feature plenty of events centered around World of Warcraft and its Cataclysm expansion, which has been confirmed as coming on December 7.

Full information on the events at BlizzCon can be seen at the official company site.
