The development team at Blizzard is reminding all Diablo 3 players that it will completely shut down the Auction House feature of the title on June 24, which means that gamers have a little under one week to retrieve all the items or the gold that they have in the Completed tab, so as to make sure that they are not gone forever.

The official announcement from the company states, “The ability to Bid, Buyout, and list new auctions in the gold and real-money auction houses was indeed disabled on March 18, 2014. However, the auction house window remained active following the shutdown and will be available until June 24, 2014. This was to allow players adequate time to retrieve their items and gold from the Completed tab. “

Gamers who need to access the Completed tab in the Diablo 3 Auction House have to click the classic gavel icon and then select whether they want to access the real-world money or the gold version of the service.

The Auction House was initially seen as one of the major innovations of the title, when Blizzard introduced it, but the studio decided that its use was not allowing some players to actually have fun with the experience.
