World of Warcraft players that suspended their subscription will soon receive a special email from Blizzard, which will offer them a free week of play, just before the game will receive its third expansion, entitled Cataclysm.

World of Warcraft is currently the most popular Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game in the world, having just passed the 12 million subscriber milestone a few weeks ago.

Now, the game is set to receive its third and largest expansion, in the form of Cataclysm, which will offer new playable races, the Worgen and Goblins, new territories as well as revamped old ones.

Lots of changes were already implemented through recent patches, which affected the crafting, glyph and reforging systems.

Now, in order to lure back in those that suspended their World of Warcraft subscriptions for one cause or another, Blizzard is preparing a special deal.

WoW account holders will soon receive emails containing the special deal, which will allow them to play the game for seven completely free.

As soon as the game will download all of the necessary files, players will be able to experience all of the new features implemented in the game since they suspended their subscription.

You might want to act fast though, as the offer is only good until December 1.

Almost a week later, on December 7, Blizzard will launch World of Warcraft Cataclysm around the world.

For those that don't need any convincing, don't forget that you can pre-order a digital copy straight from Blizzard, which will then allow you to pre-load all of the files and at midnight, on December 7, will unlock them and allow you to jump right into the MMORPG madness.
