14 DAY TRIAL // Blizzard has confirmed that it's fixed a brand new problem for Diablo 3 owners who saw some of their gold go missing and has also said that right now there is a small problem with the distribution of the Wings of Valor reward for those who pre-purchased Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls.
Diablo 3 is set to receive a major expansion next week, on March 25, and Blizzard has been getting ready for it by unleashing major updates and organizing different in-game rewards, such as a current 100% bonus XP rate.
After the shutdown of the Auction House, a few problems occurred, with some players reporting missing gold, equipment, or other such things.
Blizzard has confirmed on its forums that the missing gold issue has now been fixed and that players should see their gold return to their stashes as soon as possible.
This fix should restore the full amount of gold lost as a result of the bug without any work required by the affected players. Note that "you need not have reported the issue in this thread to be eligible for the fix," the studio said.
"We sincerely apologize for any trouble this bug caused. The missing gold/equipment/stash tab should now be resolved and we hope to address any lingering issues associated with it before the launch of Reaper of Souls."
What's more, while the gold issue has been fixed, a new problem has appeared pertaining to the Wings of Valor reward for those who pre-ordered Reaper of Souls.
More specifically, Blizzard started a script to give the actual Wings of Valor to those who pre-ordered up until now but it uncovered a bug along the way, forcing it to stop the giveaway process.
As such, not all those who have current pre-orders have received their wings, but Blizzard is working to resume the process.
"Players who pre-purchased Reaper of Souls before the script completed this afternoon will experience a delay in the delivery of their Wings of Valor. We’ve already developed a fix for this delay; however, we anticipate that the secondary script we’ll need to run to get the wings delivered to everyone will not complete until tomorrow morning at the earliest."
"We don’ t yet have an exact ETA to share for when the wings for this groups of players will be delivered, but we’ll be sure to provide an update in this thread as soon as we do," it added.
