Blizzard has released more information on the upcoming Hours of Twilight patch for the MMO World of Warcraft, which will be delivered in late 2011 or in early 2012 and will allow players to get access to three new 5 man dungeons and some other new content.

The 4.3 patch is set to include dungeons called End Time, Well of Eternity and Hour of Twilight, allowing gamers to create small groups and tackle some fairly challenging content and get access to some serious new loot.

Gamers also get access to Dragon Soul, a raid that can be played by either 10 or 20 players with Blizzard saying that this is one of the most “epic” raids that the developers have ever put together.

Those who are role playing rogues will also get access to a new legendary quest line called Fangs of the Father while everyone can visit a new Darkmoon Faire, redesigned from the ground up with new challenges and more interesting prizes.

General improvements include an improved Raid Finder tool, which allows gamers to quickly get a group up to play the Dragon Soul raid.

World of Warcraft also gets a new Transmogrification tool that allows players interested in their appearance to change the look of their weapons and armor depending on what’s fashionable in the MMO at any given moment.

Finally, all players get access to 80 slots of long term storage via the Void Storage mechanic.

The patch is clearly designed to deliver content for fans to keep them occupied during the first half of 2012 and make them interested in the upcoming Mists of Pandaria expansion, which should be out before the end of next year.

World of Warcraft has been hemorrhaging players in the last three months and Blizzard will be keen to reverse this trend.

Here is a 10 minute look at what the new patch for World of Warcraft will have to offer:
