Are you a big fan of one of the following franchises World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo? If so, you already know that the BlizzCon is the perfect event for you since that's the place where you will hear the latest and hottest news on upcoming projects from Blizzard.

The gaming reunion will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on the 10th and 11th of October, but tickets will be put on sale starting the 11th of August, so you'd better start saving some cash, since one ticket will cost you no less than 100 bucks. If you don't want to attend the event or you just don't have enough time to go there, DirecTV will also offer exclusive coverage from the convention as a pay per view program. So, whichever choice you make, you still have to pay.

"BlizzCon is one of the most highly anticipated gaming conventions of the year, and we are excited to partner with Blizzard Entertainment to deliver coverage of the show to gamers nationwide," said Steven Roberts, senior vice president, new media and business development, DirecTV. "With our BlizzCon pay per view package, members of Blizzard's gaming communities who are not attending the event can now experience it in crystal-clear HD."

Even though details on what we're going to see are pretty scarce at the moment, we do know that BlizzCon will offer an array of activities, including discussion panels, hands-on playtime with upcoming games, tournaments, contests, and more. Don't get too excited with that "hands-on playtime", since we really doubt they're talking about Diablo III. Which is kind of sad, anyway.

"Whenever we've been able to meet and interact with Blizzard gamers from around the world, it's been a great experience for us," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We're looking forward to seeing even more of our players at this year's BlizzCon and delivering another entertaining and informative event for them."

If you plan to go there, don't forget to purchase a ticket for the convention by visiting the official BlizzCon website.
