Gamers can take part in panel and special eSport events

Video game developer Blizzard announces that the special BlizzCon event for this year will take place at the Convention Center in Anaheim on Friday, November 7, and Saturday, November 8, with fans able to get tickets starting on May 7 at 7 PM Pacific Time.

The company explains that those who attend will be able to take part in panel with developers, play new titles from the studio in special booths and participate in eSports tournaments for games like Heroes of the Storm and Starcraft 2 that will feature the most successful gamers from around the world.

The first batch of tickets for BlizzCon 2014 will be offered on May 7 and gamers will have another opportunity to pick them up on May 10.

The official announcement adds, "a limited number of tickets to an exclusive pre-BlizzCon Benefit Dinner will go on sale Wednesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. PT for $750 apiece (plus applicable taxes and fees; BlizzCon admission included), with proceeds benefitting Children’s Hospital of Orange County."

Blizzard is also offering a special Virtual Ticket for all those interested, which will allow them to follow live coverage via the Internet, with more details on them coming soon.

A full schedule for BlizzCon 2014 will be announced during the summer.
