14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier this year, Tom DeLonge, who co-founded the band Blink-182, was pushed out by his (former) bandmates because he wouldn’t commit to a new album and a tour. The news made headlines around the world, mostly because Tom was very vocal in his criticism at how this was handled: he claimed he had no idea he had been kicked out of the band.
Here’s Tom making headlines again, this time for something that has nothing to do with Blink-182 but a lot to do with all those other projects that he said required his attention and time, thus preventing him from committing fully to the band: aliens and UFOs.
Of course aliens exist! He saw them!
Tom sat down for a very long and detailed interview with Paper Magazine, in which he discusses at ease his involvement in the study of alien life and UFO sighting. Before you even ask, yes aliens exist and yes, they have made contact.
Tom knows this because he’s seen them with his own eyes, more or less. The rocker claims he got into this “business” about 2 decades ago, when “the earth was still flat” and people pointed and laughed at those believing in extraterrestrial life. Today, even the Pope has said publicly that alien life must exist out there.
Back then, he was the sore thumb sticking out, but he never gave up his quest for the truth. DeLonge claims to have connections inside various governmental agencies and within the scientific community, and to have been part in many a report presented to the US government.
He also believes he took part in an alien encounter, not in the sense that he was abducted and had tests performed on him, but rather that he witnessed an alien meeting of some sorts, which took place outside Area 51.
He and a bunch of guys with similar interests had camped outside to keep a watch on possible sightings of alien life, and he remembers waking up at 3 o’clock in the morning to the sound of chatter outside the tent. He reckons there were about 20 “people” talking and he remembers recognizing the language they were speaking, but not understanding it.
Next thing he knew, it was morning and he had no other recollection of 3 hours of his life. Another man with him said he’d had the same experience, the rocker vouches.
The government is onto him
Because Tom is in deep, the government is watching him - and has been for many years now. He’s had this phone tapped all along and he’s been followed around more than he could care to remember, but he’s gotten to a point where he no longer minds it.
In a sense, he boasts, he understands why authorities would be afraid of him, because of the amount of knowledge he possesses on the topic.
Speaking of knowledge, Tom is also convinced that the government can mind-control people, “where the same technology that we use to find oil underground, we can zap somebody at the same frequency that the brain operates on, and it can cause some really horrific things to happen.”
