Bleach Erabareshi Tamashi is a Japanese-only video game for the PlayStation 2 based on the anime and manga series Bleach by Tite Kubo. It was released in Japan on August 4th, 2005. This is the first Bleach game to be released on the PlayStation 2.

The player can choose any two main characters from the Bleach series to start with. However, the player can only choose from five characters at the start of the game. As the player progresses, more characters become available. The player is given missions requiring them to fight against hollows in different parts of Karakura Town and members of the Gotei 13 in Soul Society. The story does not follow the manga storyline.

Unlockables

Hard Mode
Complete the game once, hold L1 and R1 while selecting Load Game. Enemies will do two times more damage.

Maximum Mode
Complete the game once, hold L2 and R2 while selecting Load Game. The combination gauge will be full at the beginning of all missions.

Maximum Tension Finish Combinations
These are movies available to view from the URAHARA Gallery at the main screen. You must complete a full combo using the X and square+triangle buttons repeatedly and at the end, use the O button. The in-game tutorial shows how to do this more clearly.
