Scheduled for a spring 2007 release, Blazing Angels Secret Missions is the follow-up to the squadron-based flight combat game Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII. Ubisoft's simulator almost rewrites history taking you to WW II's most memorable scenes again.

The mission: stop the enemy before he manages to finalize the construction of weaponry. But don't worry; your team is very well equipped with aircraft squadrons and powerful weapons to shred them to pieces. It may be tricky at first but, after a while, the German planes will be dropping like flies in swirling trails of smoke.

The game is going to present you with large-scale battles through various conditions: darkness, rain, snow and air turbulence, beautiful landscapes like the Himalayas or Cairo, but there won't be much time for sightseeing as the skies will blacken with incoming enemies, which you'll have to bring down keeping them under heavy attack from high-velocity cannons and early guided missiles.

Free-for-all, co-op and squad-based play along with the new Capture the Flag and Epic Battle modes can be found in the simulator's multiplayer option. They will bring new meaning to the definition of multiplayer, making it more difficult to gain upper hand on the enemy which you will have to outsmart in reaching the objectives ahead of him and in conquering his base.

As of 2004, Ubisoft is the third-largest independent video game publisher in Europe and the seventh largest in the US. The game's predecessor, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WW II was packed with 42 different World War II planes that allowed the player to take part in 18 famous missions from the war as a fictional squadron along with online support allowing 16 players to take part in head-to-head and co-operative play battles. What do you think this one is going to be like?
