The Blaq for BlackBerry 10 application has been updated with a nice range of new enhancements, and it is currently available for download as version 1.3.0.1007.

The most important change included in the new application release is BlackBerry Hub integration, which should enable users to enjoy access to their messages much easier than before.

“Blaq now ‘fully’ integrates with BlackBerry Hub. Your mentions and direct messages from multiple accounts are now easier to access on BlackBerry 10,” the app’s release notes unveil.

Other important changes in the new release include:

- Detailed Active Frame - In addition to seeing tweets, indicators for new tweets, mentions and direct messages are displayed so you know when to take action.

- Lite Theme - For the first time in the history of Blaq, we've seen the light. Light theme, that is!

- BlackBerry ID Synchronization - For those that like to format their devices for whatever reasons, your settings and mutes are now backed up automatically!

The new software version comes with the option to tweet post status with progress bar for photo uploads, as well as with the option to change your profile banner straight from the app.

Moreover, the friend picker is now available within the search, while BBM Pins are now recognized in tweets and direct messages, as CrackBerry notes in a recent post.

The application will now compress requests to save data, and it will allow users to access up to three accounts at the same time. The limitation to only three accounts is due to a token limit that Twitter imposed to third-party developers.

Following the update, users will also see that labels have been added to the left toolbar, accessible through pulling the timeline to the right. Various bug fixes have also been included inside the application.

You can download Blaq for BlackBerry 10 from the official BlackBerry World. The application features a price tag of $2.99 (€2.19).
