14 DAY TRIAL // Blake Shelton will do more than just perform at Kelly Clarkson’s wedding, he revealed at this weekend’s 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards: he will also be officiating the ceremony.
Kelly announced her engagement to Brandon Blackstock in December last year, with reports saying that they are preparing for a fall 2013 wedding.
Officially, neither Kelly nor Brandon has said anything on the topic yet as regards a date. She did reveal a while back that Blake would most definitely perform.
Now, she’s confirmed that he will also officiate, OMG Yahoo reports.
“Clarkson, who is engaged to Shelton's manager, Brandon Blackstock, confessed that she had checked finding an officiant off her wedding to-do list when she talked to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ host Nancy O'Dell backstage at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night,” the e-zine says.
Considering that these two (four, if we also count his wife Miranda Lambert and her fiancé Brandon) are close friends, this hardly comes as a shock, right?
