14 DAY TRIAL // Blake Shelton cuts loose in the brand new video for the theme song from the upcoming “Footloose” film. Though some point out Shelton’s take on the song is not as good as the original, all agree he really rocks it.
As movie fans must already know, Hollywood is getting ready to put out another remake, “Footloose,” the classic story of a city kid who moves to a small town and is about to turn everything upside down with his rebelliousness.
It would be easy to dismiss this movie as “yet another” remake that’s not worth the trouble – and, most importantly, the money – but early reviews indicate we might actually have a hit on our hands.
At the same time, the scenes included in Shelton’s video seem to confirm that this is a strong film: fun yet serious about important aspects, albeit perhaps not bold enough to stray from the original.
Even if the film flops, we’ll always have the fun video Blake Shelton delivered with “Footloose,” the theme song.
