Things took on a turn for the dramatic on the last episode of The Voice, as two of the judges, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton took their on-screen rivalry just a little too far. Or, at least, one of them did. Blake Shelton was the one who decided that it would be a good idea to post Levine's personal number on Twitter for everyone to see.

The bitter Shelton wrote “HEY EVERYONE!!! Here it is: (***) ***-**** -- @adamlevine's CELL NUMBER! Think I'm kidding? Try calling it!! [expletive]!!!” on Twitter, and fans didn't hesitate to test to see if it was true.

The bad part was that Blake's action wasn't just a spur of the moment kind of thing, it was premeditated. In an earlier tweet, he taunted his followers with the prospect of Adam's phone number: “I should do it right? Who wants @adamlevine's personal cell number??”

The two singers obviously didn't see eye to eye over the acts on The Voice, but it seems that at least one of them may have taken things a bit too far. The Maroon 5 front man was left speechless at Blake's prank, but he did add on Twitter: “I'm seriously amazed at @blakeshelton's stupidity...” and later added “@blakeshelton your threats are so cute.”

The problem, as everyone suspected, stemmed from the fact that Levine cut one of the acts from the show that Shelton had put his hopes in, and, in return, Blake decided that it would be a good idea to leak his number on the internet.

“I can't imagine what kind of a guy with his phone number on Twitter would release an artist like that. I mean you would have to be an absolute jackass to do something like that,” tweeted Blake, proving that he was indeed a sore loser.

Levine recovered long enough from the shock of having his privacy invaded in such a rude manner to hit back at Shelton by warning him, “Just know that you have it coming because that's not cool at all.”

Those threats might have sounded empty to Shelton because even now, hours after the incident, he seems to be unremorseful. The number is still there, despite that even some of his fans blasted him to take it down since it wasn't a cool move to make.

The vast majority, however, thanked Shelton and admitted to calling the number provided at least a couple of times, sending him texts, though it looks like Levine didn't answer anyone, because everyone complained that they kept getting a busy tone.
