Blake Lively Does Nothing to Stay Slim

Actress speaks of her careless relationship to food

Blake Lively is known and loved by fans not only because of her part on the highly successful TV series “Gossip Girl,” but also because she comes across as a genuinely frank person and a very accessible – yet extremely stylish – celebrity. At 21, this actress can even boast of the unthinkable (in Hollywood at least): indulging in all her cravings and still having a fit, slim figure, as she reveals in a recent interview quoted by People magazine.

Blake does not work out and she certainly does not diet to maintain her figure. Granted, she too gets the jitters when she’s supposed to wear a tight or more revealing outfit on the show, but that rarely stops her from eating what she wants. Blake Lively is, as per her own words, a lucky girl whose metabolism is working overtime so that she doesn’t have to. Still, the actress admits, she too knows this cannot last forever, and is consequently thinking of hiring a personal trainer.

“I do panic before I have to wear a really skimpy outfit, but I don’t have enough willpower. I had to do a scene in a bra and shorts for the first time in two years. On the day of the shoot, I ate a pork burrito, chips and coke. Afterwards, I thought, ‘I probably shouldn’t have done that.’ But whatever.” Blake bluntly admits. The actress seems to have the same attitude towards exercise as well, as she reveals further on in the interview.

“I have never worked out, but I know you feel better when you do, so I am planning on getting a trainer.” Lively states. Until she does so, though, she is free to eat whatever she wants, whenever she wants. However, the good thing is that she is well aware that she can’t rely on her metabolism alone for much longer, as several fitness and health-oriented publications point out, while she’s also showing signs of considering leading a healthier life by including physical exercise in her daily routine.

Earlier this year, the always honest Blake Lively admitted to Vogue magazine, the Bible of fashion, that she used to be bullied in school. It was this that made her want to dress up and look better than her mates, she also revealed, which is how she came to be known now as the ultimate young fashionista of the moment.
