14 DAY TRIAL // iOS gamers rejoice, as makers of Subway Surfers, one of the most popular endless runners mobile games, have just announced that their new game will take on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices on June 4.
Dubbed Blades of Brim, the game mixes elements from the endless runners genre that develop SYBO is so prolific with, and fast-paced combat.
According to developers, “easy to pick up and play, Blades of Brim is a new generation endless runner, bringing fast-paced combat, a whole new crew of runners, and an epic and enchanting universe to the genre.”
Blades of Brim allows players to choose one of the many characters developers are making available in the game, including Zuma the Savage Beastman and Lilith the Trickster Demoness, and adventure in a world full of magic and mayhem, as well as heroic quests.
Beware the Goons!
The main enemies are called the Goons. They are armies of wizards who hide and wait, ready to ambush players while they are running through the levels.
In order to face off these Goons, players are given control of dragons and other mounts (including wolf or steed) that can be summoned and ride. They can also help players vanquish enemies.
But that's not the only help players will get in Blades of Brim. As the name suggests, a wide array of weapons will be at their disposal as well, along with power ups and magical mounts.
The weapons collected during gameplay can be upgraded. It is also worth mentioning that SYBO confirmed that Blades of Brim would be available for both online and offline play.
While the game is not yet available for download, SYBO announced that Blades of Brim would arrive in App Store on June 4. The game will be available for free, but it will feature in-app purchases.
