Blade Hunter, the upcoming free-to-play MMORPG featuring side-scrolling beat’em up action, currently in development by Reality Squared Games, has just entered its official alpha test phase.

Players are offered the chance to try out three playable classes, the Knight, Rogue and Valkyrie. They can engage in PvP duels and much more, as reported by MMOGames.

R2Games have also organized some alpha events including rewards for players taking part in the fantasy action MMORPG alpha test. The full list is available on the developer’s official forum.

Blade Hunter will be set in a vibrant fantasy world, merging classic side-scrolling beat’em up gameplay with modern RPG features. The game will support both solo play as well as parties and Guilds, and will feature multiplayer events as well as ranked cross-server PvP duels.
