Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera is a compact Super 16 digital film camera that packs true digital film features like 13 stops of dynamic range, Super 16 sensor size, as well as the ability to capture high-quality lossless RAW CinemaDNG files or ProRes 422 taking advantage of the flexibility offered by the MFT (Micro Four Thirds) lens mount.

If you enjoy scuba diving and would like to take your Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BPCC) with you to capture the beauty of the underwater world, you can fit your digital camera with a dedicated housing that allows you to submerge it up to a 100m (328 ft) depth.

US-based camera underwater housing manufacturer Nauticam can provide the perfect solution for your BPCC camera along with a wide range of housings designed to fit most popular digital cameras, DSLRs, medium format, mirrorless, and compact camera models.

After recently unveiling the Olympus OM-D E-M1 mirrorless camera housing (NA-EM1) and the NA-G16 for Canon PowerShot G16, the company announced in a recent press release the availability of a new underwater housing designed to perfectly fit the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera.

The new NA-BMPCC model comes with an integrated handle system, similar with Nauticam SLR housings, designed to provide a firm grip and stable operation while filming.

In addition to that, the NA-BMPCC features a tactile trigger mechanism for recording that can be easily operated even with thick gloves. Furthermore, the left handle comes with a rubberized lens control knob that can operate either focus or zoom, depending on the type of lens used.

If you want to mount additional jibs, you can use the integrated cheese plate on top of the housing. Moreover, the dual tripod screws on the bottom of the housing allow you to easily mount a tripod or a quick release plate.

The housing is compatible with Nauticam ports system and allows you to use great lenses like the Panasonic 8mm fisheye or 7-14mm rectilinear wide-angle lens to get the best footage possible.
