The good folks over at Daedalic have just announced their first turn-based RPG title Blackguards has just made the jump to Mac OS X. The game is available on Steam Early Access and is scheduled for release later this month.

Three versions can now be purchased via Steam, each containing various game-related stuff. Once again make sure you read the Steam forums for additional info on how the game plays in early access.

That being said, the cheapest version is Blackguards Standard Early Access Edition, which can be purchased for £18.99 / €24.99. It includes all five Early Access chapters of Blackguards at the earliest availability, along with the final version for PC and Mac when it's released.

Next in line, Blackguards Early Access Deluxe Edition costs £26.99 / €34.99 and includes the Standard edition of the game, along with the following goodies: 150-page digital art book, bonus developer interview videos and six exclusive wallpapers.

Last but not least, Blackguards Early Access Contributor Edition is now available for £29.99 / €49.99 and contains the Deluxe edition plus the first Blackguards DLC, a copy of point & click adventure Chains of Satinav, and the buyers names will be featured in the game credits.

It is also worth mentioing that along with the Mac release, developer Daedalic also released a major patch that includes lots of fixes and some much needed game balance adjustments.

“With today's patch Blackguards is also available for Mac OS X! Buyers of the Early Access version can jump right into the game on their Mac systems or switch between different operating systems thanks to Steamplay,” said developer in a blog post.

Mac users who decided to grab Blackguards while it's still in Early Access are requested to offer their feedback on this version of the game, as it would help developers a lot in polishing the game before the final release.
