The development team at Daedalic Entertainment is delivering a full launch trailer for Blackguards, its hex-driven role-playing game, with an emphasis on the game world and on the moral ambiguity of the character that gamers will control.

The team explains, “What happens when the only hope of a threatened world lies not with heroes in shining armor, but in the hands of a band of misfits and criminals? Blackguards, a new turn-based strategy RPG, explores this very question.”

The Daedalic-created experience uses the Dark Eye universe, but most of the fantasy elements that are included will be instantly recognizable to fans of the genre.

The core combat system is turn based and features some interesting abilities and enemy types.
