Launched on the market back in December, BlackBerry Bold 9790 is about to make its debut at Fido. Although there’s no word on phone’s exact release date or price, rumor has it that Bold 9790 will hit shelves for around $400 CAD off-contract.

The smartphone is currently available for purchase via Rogers for $399.99 CAD outright, so we can safely assume that Fido’s variant will come in around the same price.

The Bold 9790 comes with a small 2.45-inch capacitive touchscreen (480 x 360 pixels), which is complemented by a physical QWERTY keyboard.

On the inside, the handset packs a 1 GHz Marvel Tavor MG1 processor, 8GB of internal memory, 768MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The BlackBerry 7 smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and VGA video recording, as well as HSDPA/HSUPA and NFC (Near Field Communication) support.
