BlackBerry Z30, the latest smartphone from the Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry, is set to become available for purchase in North America in the not too distant future, and has already received approvals from the FCC for that.

The mobile phone was spotted at the feds in three different flavors, namely L6ARFY110LW, L6ARFW120LW, and L6ARFX100LW.

The first two models are listed with support for 4G 1,700MHz and 2,600MHz frequencies, which would make them fit for the networks of wireless carriers Telus, Rogers, and Bell in Canada.

The smartphone was also approved with GSM/EDGE 850/1900, WCDMA/HSDPA Bands (FDD II, V), LTE Bands (FDD 4, 5) connectivity, as Pocketnow reports.

As for model L6ARFX100LW, it emerged at the FCC with support for Verizon’s network, which suggests that this is the device iteration that will be released on Big Red.

The FCC listings also show BlackBerry Z30 as set to land on shelves with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS receiver. No mystery here, given that BlackBerry has already unveiled all these features for the device.

It still remains to be seen which smartphone model will be launched on GSM carriers in the United States, though BlackBerry might announce such details soon.

For those out of the loop, we should note that BlackBerry Z30 arrives on the market with a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor inside.

The smartphone also packs 2GB of RAM, as well as 16GB of internal memory. Furthermore, it comes with a microSD memory card slot attached, capable of offering support for memory cards of up to 64GB.

On the back, the new device features an 8-megapixel camera, with 1080p video recording capabilities, paired with a front camera for making video calls. BlackBerry Z30 will hit shelves with the BlackBerry 10.2 OS loaded on top right from the beginning.
