Mobile phone users in the UK interested in the purchase of the new BlackBerry Z30 smartphone can now head over to The Carphone Warehouse to reserve the device.

The retailer has just kicked off the pre-order period for the handset on its website, providing users with the possibility to choose between various deals on monthly plans at O2 and talkmobile.

The smartphone can be ordered at no upfront cost on monthly plans that start at £32 ($51 / €38) per month, though other options are also available for interested parties.

Both the Black and the White versions of the mobile phone are now available for pre-order, with the former expected to arrive on September 30, and the latter set to hit shelves on October 15.

“Built for collaboration. With a large 5” screen and BlackBerry Natural Sound you’ll be able to work with others effortlessly using BBM video on the BlackBerry Z30,” the retailer notes.

The new BlackBerry Z30 went official earlier this week with a 5-inch 720p touchscreen display and a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor packed inside.

According to BlackBerry, this is the largest and most powerful smartphone it has released to date.

Furthermore, the device comes with a 2880mAh battery inside, which is said to be able to deliver up to 18 hours of talk time, or up to 384 hours of standby.

BlackBerry Z30 also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot capable of accommodating memory cards of up to 32GB.

The handset features an 8-megapixel camera on the back, with support for full HD video recording, as well as a front camera for making video calls.

Running under the latest version of the BlackBerry 10 operating system, the smartphone measures 140.7 x 72 x 9.4mm and weighs 170 grams. It also sports 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and built-in GPS receiver.
