Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has reportedly started the carrier testing phase for its yet unannounced BlackBerry Z30 smartphone.

Provided that things are indeed so, it means that it might not be too long before the device is made official, despite the fact that such testing could take months sometimes, as CrackBerry reports.

However, previous rumors on the matter suggested that the device was set to land on shelves before the end of this year, and it appears that they might be panning out.

Unfortunately, no specific info on which operators will be adding the upcoming flagship device to their offerings has been provided for the time being.

In fact, the available photo with the phone does not show any carrier branding, so it remains to be seen what BlackBerry will have to announce on this part. Stay tuned for more info.
