The smartphone is already available for pre-order in the country

Earlier this week, Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has officially announced the upcoming availability of its BlackBerry Z3 smartphone in India, and the company has already started to promote the device in the country, it seems.

A video promo with the smartphone is now available for your viewing pleasure, embedded below, providing you with a glimpse at some of the main features of the device.

Furthermore, the clip is also showcasing some of the capabilities that the handset will sport exclusively in this country, such as a specific keyboard that will allow users to easily Flick Type in Native Hindi and Hinglish.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the BlackBerry Z3 was made official in India with a price tag of Rs. 15,999 ($266/€195) attached to it.

The smartphone will be released in the country through various retailers there, and some of them have already announced a series of promotional offers for it. For example, Flipkart is providing users with the possibility to grab the handset at only Rs. 14,999 ($249/€183).

At the moment, BlackBerry Z3 is available only for pre-order in India, but users will be able to purchase it starting next week.

The handset was made official in early 2014 as the cheapest BlackBerry 10 smartphone to date, and it keeps the name still. However, despite its low price tag when compared to other BlackBerry phones, the Z3 still offers appealing hardware specs and capabilities.

The phone was released in Indonesia several weeks ago, and it has already managed to attract a lot of users to its side, something that might happen in India as well.

BlackBerry Z3 arrives on shelves with a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 540 x 960 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor.

Moreover, it was launched with 1.5GB of RAM inside, as well as with 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and full HD video recording capabilities. A 1.1MP front camera was also packed on the device.

In addition to that, it was launched with HSPA+ connectivity, as well as with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities, and a built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support. BlackBerry Z3 is powered by a Li-Ion 2500mAh battery that can deliver up to 15 hours and 30 minutes of talk time, or up to 384 hours of standby time.
