Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion is set to make its new BlackBerry 10 platform official on January 30, and is now said to plan the launch of devices running under it in Canada only one week after.

According to a recent article on CrackBerry, the long rumored BlackBerry Z10 smartphone should make an appearance on shelves at TELUS and Bell on that day, in both Black and White coats.

Since there’s no official confirmation on the matter available for the time being, we should take the info with a grain of salt, especially since previous rumors suggested that the first BlackBerry 10 devices wouldn’t hit the market until late February.

One way or the other, there are only six days left until RIM makes all the necessary info on the availability of BlackBerry 10 devices official, so stay tuned.
