The first smartphone to ship with BlackBerry 10 operating system out of the box, the Z10 has just been discounted by a lot in the UK.

Although the smartphone was initially priced at £300 (€355 / $480), major retailer Carphone Warehouse is now selling the SIM free version of BlackBerry Z10 for only £180 (€215 / $285).

As CrackBerry points out, those who upgrade will have to pay only £150 (€180 / $240) on PAYG (pay as you go), while newcomers are charged £160 (€190 / $255) for the same deal.

Customers who cannot afford any of these amounts can grab the BlackBerry Z10 for free on select 24-month plans starting at £14 (€17 / $22) per month.
