Major retailer Best Buy has just confirmed it will start taking pre-order for BlackBerry Z10 beginning March 12. It’s the same day AT&T starts accepting pre-orders for the Z10 as well.

BlackBerry fans hoping to grab the white version of Z10 will be disappointed to learn that this particular color is exclusive to Verizon, so for the time being this is the only place where you can get one.

All in all, customers who prefer Best Buy brick and mortar store over AT&T’s can head over to the nearest location and try the BlackBerry Z10 for themselves, beginning March 12.

According to CrackBerry, pre-orders are accepted at any Best Buy location and at all 405 Best Buy Mobile locations across the country.

Keep in mind that BlackBerry Z10 will be available for purchase starting March 22, but customers who pre-ordered the smartphone might receive it a few days earlier.

No word on price tag yet, but Best Buy is likely to offer the same deal as AT&T, which means BlackBerry Z10 will be available for as low as $200 / €155 with a new two-year agreement.

For the time being, it’s unclear if the smartphone will ship with the latest version of BlackBerry 10, but AT&T has already started the rollout of OS 10.0.10.88 update so this won’t be a problem.

The Z10 is the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone that goes on sale, but the Canadian company plans to release another one in the next few weeks, the Q10.

BlackBerry Z10 is a full-touch smartphone that sports a 4.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (768 x 1280 pixels) resolution.

Hardware-wise, the Z10 is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card. More details on BlackBerry Z10’s specs sheet are available here.
