Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry is getting ready for the release of its new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone to some more markets around the world, with Ecuador being one of them.

The handset will land in the country on the networks of Claro and Movistar, each of them securing exclusivities on the white and black flavors, respectively.

While no specific info on when the device will land on shelves in the country has been provided as of now, CrackBerry notes that it should not be too long before that happens, especially since four carriers have put it on pre-order status.

Details on the device’s price tag have yet to be unveiled as well, yet rumor has it that it might be a bit more expensive than in the United States. Stay tuned for more on this.
