The handset is priced at $99.99 on contract, $531.99 upfront

Starting today, T-Mobile customers in the United States can purchase the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone on their carrier’s network, for only $99.99 (€77.72) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement, or for $531.99 (€413) upfront.

Powered by the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, the smartphone arrives on shelves with support for the operator’s 4G LTE network that is set to launch today in various markets around the United States.

The 4G LTE BlackBerry Z10 should provide users with fast data speeds on the go, while also being capable of delivering a great mobile experience on its 4.2-inch touchscreen display, paired with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.

According to T-Mobile, BlackBerry 10 will deliver “an intelligent and intuitive experience that constantly adapts to your needs. Every feature, every gesture, and every detail is designed with you in mind. Discover how BlackBerry Z10 keeps you moving.”

Some of the main features of the redesigned operating system include BlackBerry Hub, which offers fast access to messages, a new BlackBerry Keyboard for fast typing on the phone’s screen, and support for BBM Video and Screen Share in BlackBerry Messenger.

Furthermore, the smartphone can deliver appealing performance capabilities, courtesy of 2GB of RAM that accompany the aforementioned dual-core processor.

On the back, the mobile phone features an 8-megapixel photo snapper, capable of recording videos in HD resolution, complemented by a front camera for video calling.

The specs list of BlackBerry Z10 also includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, NFC, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, and the usual set of sensors.
