Earlier this week, Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has announced the availability of its new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone on the market in Kuwait.

This is the first smartphone in the company’s lineup to pack the redesigned BlackBerry 10 platform, providing users with a new mobile experience while on the go.

The handset vendor also notes that the new device is the fastest and most advanced BlackBerry smartphone yet, capable of providing users with the features and capabilities they need at all times.

The new mobile phone arrives in the country on the networks of Viva, Wataniya, and Zain telecom, and is also set to hit shelves at partner retailers.

The BlackBerry Z10 smartphone features a price tag of 199 Kuwaiti Dinar ($705 / €528), though carriers might also offer it with subsidies to their customers.

“We are excited to be introducing our customers in Kuwait to a new era of mobile computing,” Ahmad Olaywan, country director, Kuwait, BlackBerry, said.

“The BlackBerry Z10 smartphone delivers a powerful new platform for BlackBerry customers and we are excited to be bringing BlackBerry 10 to the people of Kuwait.”

For those out of the loop, we should note that the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone was unveiled with a 4.2-inch touchscreen display, a dual-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory.
