14 DAY TRIAL // Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a BlackBerry Z10 smartphone can now have one at only $200 (€147), courtesy of a promotion that the Canadian mobile phone maker is running until December 2.
To grab the smartphone at the aforementioned price tag, users will have to head over to BlackBerry’s online shop, order the smartphone, and enter coupon code BFEMAILZ10 at checkout.
However, as CrackBerry notes, it appears that only one smartphone can be ordered at once with the aforementioned code.
Even so, the deal seems highly appealing, especially considering the fact that the smartphone is offered SIM-free and unlocked. However, it is compatible only with GSM carriers, including AT&T and T-Mobile.
Apparently, no shipping fee applies to orders, though this deal will be available only to people in the United States. Some users report that they have managed to order the device from Canada as well, though a shipping fee was attached to their purchase.
For those out of the loop, we should note that BlackBerry Z10 was the first smartphone from the company to arrive on shelves with the new BlackBerry 10 operating system loaded on top.
The smartphone features a 4.2-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a 1280 x 768 pixels resolution, as well as a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside.
Furthermore, it sports 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. On the back, the smartphone packs an 8-megapixel camera with support for full HD video recording, complemented by a front camera.
The specifications list of this handset also includes the usual set of connectivity capabilities, such as LTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth, a built-in GPS receiver, and the whole set of sensors.
The mobile phone also packs a battery capable of offering up to 10 hours of talk time on 3G networks, or up to 11.8 days on standby. It measures 5.11in x 2.58in x 0.35in (130mm x 65.6mm x 9mm) and weighs 4.80oz / 136grams.
