BlackBerry has just confirmed it will bring the Z10 in India on February 25. In fact, the Canadian company announced it would introduce the smartphone in the country ten days from now, though we’re not sure if the device will be available for purchase from the same date.

According to Tech2, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, the new ambassador for BlackBerry in the country, is expected to be present at the launch event.

For the time being, Aircel and Vodafone are expected to carry the BlackBerry Z10 in India, but the smartphone is likely to go on sale at leading retailers across the country as well.

So far, we haven’t been able to learn anything on pricing, but more details will surely be announced on February 25, along with info on carrier support. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
