Two new videos with upcoming BlackBerry smartphones from Research In Motion have just made it into the wild, offering us the possibility to have another look at the BlackBerry Touch (Storm 3) and BlackBerry Torch 2 9860 smartphones from the company. Both of these should become official as soon as next month, during the BlackBerry World, some of the previous reports on the matter suggested.

However, nothing was confirmed officially on any of them for the time being, and it might still take some time before specific details on the matter are available.

Even so, we should note that both devices have been spotted into the wild before, and that some info on their specifications leaked as well, including the fact that they should land on shelves with the new BlackBerry OS 6.1 from RIM.

The BlackBerry Touch smartphone, said to be the Storm 3, should arrive on the market with a 3.7-inch TFT LCD WVGA touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz application processor, and 768MB of RAM.

Moreover, the new device is expected to include 4GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

It should also include a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD video recording capabilities, as well as HSDPA 14.4MBps, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, GPS, or a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As for the BlackBerry Torch 2 smartphone, it should arrive on shelves with a similar design as the original device, combining the touchscreen display with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The same as BlackBerry Touch, the new smartophone is expected to pack a 1.2GHz application processor inside (apparently, other new RIM handsets would also include this CPU).

The second Torch should have the same physical dimensions as the original, including a 640 x 480-pixel touchscreen display, but should pack different hardware inside.

Until more info on these devices becomes available, have a look at the two videos embedded at the bottom of this article (via Pocketnow) to learn more on them.
