Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion is ramping up for the release of a new touchscreen-capable smartphone on the market in the near future, the BlackBerry Touch (codenamed Monaco), and some more info on the device emerged, courtesy of a series of video tutorial extracted from a leaked OS 6.1.0.44.

The new device, said to be the next addition to RIM's popular Storm series, should be released as soon as next month, during the BlackBerry World conference, if some of the latest rumors on the matter are to be believed.

The handset made it to the headlines quite a few times before, and can be admired now in the said videos, available at the bottom of this article.

We already had the possibility to have a look at the device, since it emerged only recently in another leaked video, and now we can make a better idea of what it would have to offer.

All in all, there are not too many things that can be seen in the videos embedded below, but the one thing that is certain is that the new device, although unannounced for the time being, is on its way to the market soon.

For those who might have missed our previous posts on this device, we should note that the BlackBerry Touch (Monaco) is reportedly headed to the market with a fast 1.2GHz application processor inside, complemented by a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, capable of delivering a WVGA resolution.

Moreover, the new BlackBerry smartphone is expected to arrive on shelves with a 5-megapixel photo snapper that sports video recording capabilities.

It would also include 4 GB of internal storage space, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, as well as 3G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, and the like.

Have a look at the videos available below, which were spotted by CrackBerry, and don't forget to check with us again for additional details on the matter.
