BlackBerry Torch 9810 is one of the latest smartphones to arrive on shelves from leading mobile phone maker Research In Motion, and it is now available for pre-order in the UK for free on select monthly deals.

The BlackBerry device was already made available for purchase in the country free of contract, with a price tag of around £450, but that might seem a little too much for users, that's for sure.

However, those who would still like to purchase the new BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone can now order it while signing for a monthly deal on T-Mobile or Vodafone.

Thus, they will be able to enjoy the features and capabilities of the new device on plans that start at £31.00 per month (a deal that includes 500 Anytime Minutes, Unlimited Texts and 500MB Mobile Internet).

The handset will arrive on shelves sometime towards the end of this month, at least this is what online retailer mobilephonesdirect.co.uk notes on its website.

The new BlackBerry Torch 9810 comes to the market with a large touchscreen display complemented by a sliding QWERTY keyboard, while being capable of delivering great performance capabilities courtesy of the fast application processor that RIM packed it with.

“Fastest BlackBerry web browsing experience yet with a 1.2GHz processor and BlackBerry 7 OS. Get snappy with the 5MP camera with flash and with Liquid Graphics you can enjoy truly stunning multimedia and gaming,” the online retailer notes.

The new device comes with 8GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot so that users can expand the available storage space through adding memory cards of up to 32GB.

WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities were included into the mix as well, along with support for 3G networks, built-in GPS receiver, 2.5mm headphone jack, and the usual set of sensors.
