Recently announced by Research in Motion, BlackBerry Torch 9810 will soon be available in UK via Three.

The carrier officially confirmed that it will launch the smartphone by the end of the month and listed the “Coming Soon” webpage, along with the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900.

Although the phone's price tag has yet to be revealed, it will probably be close to Bold Touch 9900 price.

BlackBerry Torch 9810 is RIM's second slider smartphone that features a full QWERTY keyboard and is the successor of the popular Torch 9800.

Commenting on the subject, a Three UK spokesperson said “this is a really exciting smartphone from BlackBerry – we know you guys loved the Torch 9800 in the past so we’re pretty confident you won’t be disappointed with this new addition to the BlackBerry range.”

The smartphone is among the first to be delivered with BlackBerry 7 operating system on board, which introduces a next-generation BlackBerry browser with a significantly faster, more fluid web browsing experience.

According to RIM, the new BlackBerry 7 based smartphones also feature Liquid Graphics technology, thus they deliver a highly responsive touch interface with incredibly fast and smooth graphics.

The Torch 9810 is equipped with a powerful single core 1.2 GHz processor and packs 8 GB of internal storage, 768 MB RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

In addition, the slider sports a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, image stabilization and HD video recording capabilities.

More importantly, it looks like the smartphone features NFC (Near Field Communication) support, as well as HSDPA (14.4Mbps) and HSUPA technology.

The phone's 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports 16 million colors and 480 x 640 pixels resolution.

Other highlights of the phone include optical trackpad, proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP connectivity, as well as GPS with A-GPS support.
