Wireless carrier T-Mobile UK has released a new mobile phone with full-touch capabilities on its airwaves, namely the BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 from the Canadian handset vendor Research In Motion. The operator announced a few days ago plans to include the device on its offering during the first half of the ongoing year, and now its customers can already enjoy the capabilities that the second Storm brings along with it.

T-Mobile’s first full touchscreen BlackBerry has it all, for business and pleasure. From 10 email accounts to instant messaging, from 3G internet to iTunes sync, from WiFi to a 3.2 megapixel camera. Get it on the best smartphone network now,” the carrier notes on its website. Those who would like to make the purchase can find the BlackBerry Storm 2 available on T-Mobile's website for free upon the signing of a 24-month contract agreement on a £30 a month plan, to which one should add the £5 BlackBerry email Booster.

In case there are some of you who might not know what the BlackBerry Storm 2 is all about, we should mention a 3.25-inch full touchscreen display with SurePress technology, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus and video recording capabilities, Wi-Fi connectivity options, GPS receiver, Bluetooth v2.1+EDR1, 3.5mm headphone jack, a 1400 mAhr battery inside which can offer up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 12.7 days of standby time, as well as support for BlackBerry App World and other services.

Here's what T-Mobile has to say about the device: “Full touchscreen functionality with SurePress makes emailing and texting easy on the BlackBerry Storm 2. Use BlackBerry Messenger for instant messaging and picture-sharing, and BlackBerry Maps to navigate. You can have up to 10 email accounts and download and edit attachments. Superfast 3G internet makes all this possible. WiFi is built in, along with Bluetooth and a speakerphone. For music on the move sync it with your iTunes or plug into the MP3 player. The 3.2 megapixel camera has autofocus and image stabilisation for crystal clear shots.”
