Mobile phone users in the UK interested in the purchase of a BlackBerry Q5 smartphone can now head over to The Carphone Warehouse for that.

Starting today, the third smartphone to have been announced with the BlackBerry 10 operating system loaded on top is available for purchase, for free on plans that start at £21 ($32 / €24.5) per month.

However, those who would like to grab it free of contract can do so as well, while having to pay £319.95 ($488 / €373) for it. The handset can be seen on this page on the retailer's website.

The mobile phone sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, complemented by a QWERTY keyboard, a 1.5GHz processor inside, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

The BlackBerry Q5 also comes with support for 4G LTE networks, as well as with all the features and capabilities that the BlackBerry 10 operating system has to offer to its users.
