The smartphone will become available for purchase tomorrow

Today, Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has made a new smartphone official in India, namely the BlackBerry Q5, the second QWERTY-enabled handset in its BlackBerry 10 lineup.

The phone went official in the country with a price tag of Rs. 24,990 ($422 / €322). It will become available for purchase tomorrow in Black, Pure White and Pure Red color flavors.

The specs list of BlackBerry Q5 includes a 3.1-inch (720 x 720 pixels) touchscreen display, the aforementioned QWERTY keyboard, and a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor inside.

The handset also sports 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a front camera for making video calls.

The features list of this device shows BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Flow UX, BBM with voice and video chat, Time Shift camera, HTML 5 support in browser, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, and more, as fonearena reports.
