Yesterday, wireless carriers in Canada started to take pre-orders for the new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone, while also confirming its upcoming availability on shelves, and some more of them are now accepting reservations for the device.

Fido and SaskTel have opened the pre-order period for the smartphone, allowing users to grab it either on contract or SIM-free, while Bell announced that it would have it up for reservations on April 19.

As Briefmobile notes, Fido asks CA$350 (USD$344 / 263 Euro) for it on a 2-yr contract, or CA$650 (USD$639 / 490 Euro) for the contract-free handset. At SaskTel, the BlackBerry Q10 is available for reservations through participating stores, and requires a CA$50 deposit from interested buyers.

Additionally, mobile phone users in Canada interested in this QWERTY-enabled BlackBerry 10 smartphone can also reserve it via Future Shop and Best Buy, also by dropping a CA$50 deposit. The handset should hit shelves before the end of the month.
