14 DAY TRIAL // A new flavor of the BBM Channels is now available for BlackBerry users via the Beta Zone, with some appealing enhancements packed inside, it seems.
According to N4BB, the update brings along the possibility to discover new channels through the “Browse Channels” tab on BlackBerry 10 and the “New Channel” tab on BlackBerry OS, while also being able to delete own Channels from the device.
Furthermore, there is Active Text for Channel ID’s within BlackBerry OS (5, 6, and 7), along with support for animated GIFs, which can now be added to users’ posts.
Following the update, owners of BlackBerry devices will also enjoy the option to view the total number of subscribers to a Channel, from the Channel preview screen, and to repost content they like in channels they subscribe to, into their own Channel.
