BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983, which is the company’s handset designed in collaboration with car giant Porsche, is expected to make an appearance later today.

We’ve seen the device in countless leaks before, but if you’re bored with that, you’ll be happy to know that BlackBerry itself posted an official rendering of the device a few hours before the grand launch (as seen at Ubergizmo).

Since then, the image and the accompanying insights related to the design process of the handset have been deleted and we all know what that means. The P’9983 is getting ready to be taken out of the oven.

No official information regarding the specs of the device have been offered by BlackBerry or Porsche, but the rumor mill is way ahead of them.

The handset should arrive with an OLED display boasting 720 x 720 pixel resolution. It should take advantage of a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM and a hefty 64GB of onboard storage.

Other specifications include two cameras (8MP on the back, 2MP up in front), full QWERTY physical keyboard, 2,100 mAh battery, and BlackBerry OS 10.3 running things onboard.

The handset will most likely be crafted with premium materials, so you should expect it to cost you quite a lot.
