The smartphone is now available for 2165 USD (1755 EUR) outright

Porsche Design and Research In Motion have just announced the immediate availability of the Porsche Design P’9981 smartphone from BlackBerry in Singapore.

According to RIM, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981 is now available for purchase at all Porsche Design stores across the country, as well as authorized retailers, for a suggested retail price of 2165 USD (1755 EUR).

The smartphone is made of premium materials, such as a forged stainless steel frame, hand-wrapped leather back cover and sculpted QWERTY keyboard. In addition, it comes with an exclusive Porsche Design UI and Wikitude World Browser augmented reality app.

The smartphone also includes a premium, exclusive PIN that easily identifies the customer as a holder of a BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981.

One of the most powerful BlackBerry smartphones launched on the market, the Porsche Design P’9981 is equipped with a 1.2 GHz processor, an Adreno 205 GPU and 768MB of RAM.

Furthermore, the handset packs 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Porsche Design P’9881 is powered by BlackBerry 7 OS With and features Liquid Graphics technology, allowing for a highly responsive touch experience with fast and smooth graphics.
