Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion is set to bring to the market within the next few months its first tablet PC, the BlackBerry PlayBook, which was announced officially ever since the third quarter of the last year, and which can be seen in the video embedded at the bottom of this article pairing with a Blackberry smartphone.

Ever since announcing the device, RIM has been touting its business capabilities, and the video embedded below is meant to show that the tablet PC is indeed capable of offering such capabilities to its users.

The video demonstration was published on the Inside for BlackBerry for Business Blog, and is meant to offer some details on a series of business features of the device.

“Our friend Jonathan from the Product team at Research In Motion (RIM) was kind enough to help us demonstrate a few of the many BlackBerry PlayBook tablet use cases for business professionals,” a post on the said blog reads.

“Included in the video above is a brief demo of email pairing with your BlackBerry smartphone via BlackBerry Bridge, multi-tasking, viewing Microsoft Office documents, and secure access to business applications such as Flash-enabled dashboards from SAP BusinessObjects Explorer.”

According to the said post, the video would also be able to demo the manner in which corporate information can be made portable and accessible in various ways through the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet PC.

Of course, these are not the only business features that the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet would come to the market with, and some more of them could be demonstrated in the near future.

Some of the previous estimates on this device suggested that RIM would be able to move over 1 million PlayBook units before the end of the first quarter of the year, and that it would sell over 6 million of them within the first year of availability.
