Canadian carrier Wind Mobile is about to release two new high-end devices, the Blackberry Pearl 3G 9100 and the Motorola Milestone XT720, in September. The information is also strengthened by the price confirmation of the RIM's smartphone

According to a post on HowardForums, the first handset to be launched by Wind Mobile will be RIM's Blackberry Pearl 3G 9100, sometime at the beginning of September.

There's no information regarding a certain launching date of the Pearl 9100, but even if it will be available before school begins, which is around September 7th, there are little chances it will sell with the back to school offer.

Further, it seems that the recommended price for the device will be around $320 with a $20 rebate, which might place the smartphone in the $300 price range.

That's pretty steep if you ask me, but Wind Mobile's subscribers will now have access to a second Blackberry smartphone, after Bold 9700 has been added to the carrier's portfolio a while back.

Motorola Milestone XT720 should land on the Canadian carrier only after Pearl 9100 will be launched, which pushes its release date to mid-September or even at the end of next month.

There's no information about its price, but rumors place it in the $350-400 price range.

This might prove to be a better choice than the Pearl 9100, if the rumors prove to be true.

Even though all the info has been leaked from a Wind Mobile rep, there's no telling if both devices will not be delayed.

Blackberry Pearl 3G 9100 and Motorola Milestone XT720 are already available in U.S. and Canada through various carriers.

Even though Wind Mobile doesn't have a high number of customers, like Bell, Telus and Rogers have, it would be nice to know that its subscribers will be able to change their Huawei devices, which are not that “appealing.”
