One of the handsets that Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry is set to make official before the end of this year is the BlackBerry Passport, which was officially confirmed last week.

The company has announced plans to make the new device official sometime in September, and CEO John Chen has taken his time to showcase the phone to the press, so as to provide users around the world with a better idea of what’s coming their way.

Apparently, a video that shows BlackBerry’s CEO showcasing the Passport is also available for your viewing pleasure, as can be seen below.

The upcoming handset will arrive on the market with a 4.5-inch 1440 x 1440 pixels touchscreen display, while also featuring a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor inside.

Moreover, the handset will pack a unique 3-row QWERTY keyboard design, which leaves more room for the screen and keeps the phone’s size low.

The BlackBerry Passport is also said to arrive on the market with 3GB of RAM inside, as well as with a non-removable 3450mAh battery.

Moreover, it should sport a 13-megapixel camera on the back, most probably with full HD video recording capabilities, as well as a 2MP front camera for making video calls, as MobileSyrup notes.

The handset is expected to run under the upcoming BlackBerry 10.3 OS flavor, which means that it will have some appealing enhancements to provide users with.
